Description: Given the rather enormous infrastructure costs involved, it's pretty rare that a truly new tire company comes along, but back in the early '90s, Blitzeinschlag Motorradreifen (Lightning Strike Motorcycle Tires) did just that. From their small factory in Rhine-Ruhr, Germany, this startup firm focused on making premium motorcycle tires aimed at racers and enthusiasts. The upmarket rubber that Blitzeinschlag turned out quickly gained a dedicated following, but sadly, after just seven years, they closed up shop as material costs became prohibitively expensive.

Description: Zündapp (a.k.a. Zuendapp) was a major German motorcycle manufacturer founded in 1917 in Nuremberg by Fritz Neumeyer, together with the Friedrich Krupp AG and the machine tool manufacturer Thiel under the name "Zünder- und Apparatebau G.m.b.H." as a producer of detonators (Zünder- und Apparatebau is German for Igniter and Apparatus). In 1919, as the demand for weapons parts declined after World War I, Neumeyer became the sole proprietor of the company, and two years later he diversified into the construction of motorcycles. Advertisements of the day proclaimed that their motorcycles were "Motorrades fur jedermann," motorcycles for everyone, and they were right on the money as by 1938, Zündapp had produced more than 200,000 motorcycles.

Description: Legend has it that this isn't just any ordinary German Shepherd. While the other dogs at the park were busy learning how to sit and fetch, "Rex" was busy memorizing three-chord anthems and customizing his favorite leather jacket. With his studded jacket, bold piercings, and an undeniable attitude, he traded his leash for the mosh pit. He doesn't bark at the mailman; he barks against the system. Unleash your inner rebel with this hardcore "Dog Punk" graphic design. Featuring a highly detailed, black-and-white grunge illustration of a badass German Shepherd rocking a studded leather jac

Description: The Eifelrennen Meisterschaftslauf was an annual motor race held in Germany's Eifel mountain region from 1922 to 2003. In the inaugural race, all vehicles were allowed – cars, motorbikes, and even bicycles with supporting engines. Over 100 entrants showed up to compete in the 10 lap event. The track was not paved, and muddy after heavy rains. In 1924 to 1926, the races for 2 and 4 wheels were held on separate days, and classes were introduced. Still, several fatal accidents happened. Even spectator stands collapsed, caused by stormy weather. The unsatisfying safety situation led to the construction of the Nürburgring circuit in the area, which was inaugurated on Saturday, 18 June 1927. This design celebrates the 1954 event.
