Guache Tapestries

The name Guanche comes from a generalization of the name of the inhabitants of the island of Chinet or Tenerife. The native of Tenerife was nevertheless called "Wa-n-Chinet" (Chinet's), CHINET being the name of the island in its language, and it was applied to the aborigines of the other Canary Islands for many years. Here we want to represent it as an international figure, without borders or divisions, art as a flag and with the variety of colours that make up our culture today.
