The Iberian lynx (Lynx pardinus) is a wild cat species endemic to the Iberian Peninsula in southwestern Europe. It is listed as Endangered on the IUCN Red List. In the 20th century, the Iberian lynx population had declined because of overhunting, poaching, fragmentation of suitable habitats, and the population decline of its main prey species, the European rabbit (Oryctolagus cuniculus), caused by myxomatosis and rabbit haemorrhagic disease.

This design is based in the ancient sculpture of an iberian Lady, found in Baza, Granada (Spain). Presented as some sort of Hecate or Persephone, linked with the dead and the underworld, surrounded by Andalusian elements

I made this drawing of the magnificent stallion of the Ardents in Lumbres, Tahar. It symbolizes all the power of the barb horse, too little known.

Space Wolf

A view of the Dom Louís1 Bridge which spans the River Douro in Porto, Portugal. This fine, two-tiered metal structure dates from 1886 although it was not fully completed until a year later when the lower deck was constructed. It was designed by Theophile Seyrig,a student of Gustav Eiffel. It connects Porto with Villa Nove de Gaia on the southern bank. The Douro itself starts its life in Spain, flowing into Portugal to meet the Atlantic Ocean here at Porto.

Fierce, powerful, and full of joy. That's the horse rejoicing in its strength.

In the foreground is a Rabelo - the traditional flat-bottomed rivercraft used particularly in the transportation of port wine. It is here at Porto that the river flows into the Atlantic Ocean.

This vibrant design pays homage to Portugal’s rich culture and iconic landmarks. The bold "Straight Outta Portugal" text is framed by classic imagery, including the Belem Tower and traditional azulejo patterns, capturing the nation’s spirit.

I Love Ham

A boat of sightseeers heading across the Douro River in the city of Porto (or Oporto). This city, the second largest in Portugtal, lies on its north west coast at the point where the Douro meets the Atlantic Ocean. Across the river here are the warehouses and offices of the port wine companies - well worth a visit! The centre of the city has, since 1996 been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This image has been processed to give a coloured pencil finish.

The small town of Velez Blanco in the Almeria province of Anadalucia, Spain. Above the town is the fine Renaissance castle built by the Marquises of Velez Blanco in the early 16th century as an extension to the Moorish alcazaba. The castle is now just a shell as the Dukes of Medina sold the interior to an antiques dealer in 1904. The courtyard is now in the New York Metropolitan Museum of Art.
