The Iberian lynx (Lynx pardinus) is a wild cat species endemic to the Iberian Peninsula in southwestern Europe. It is listed as Endangered on the IUCN Red List. In the 20th century, the Iberian lynx population had declined because of overhunting, poaching, fragmentation of suitable habitats, and the population decline of its main prey species, the European rabbit (Oryctolagus cuniculus), caused by myxomatosis and rabbit haemorrhagic disease.

This design is based in the ancient sculpture of an iberian Lady, found in Baza, Granada (Spain). Presented as some sort of Hecate or Persephone, linked with the dead and the underworld, surrounded by Andalusian elements

I made this drawing of the magnificent stallion of the Ardents in Lumbres, Tahar. It symbolizes all the power of the barb horse, too little known.

Space Wolf

Looking across the Douro River in the city of Porto in Portugal. Here we are next to the Dom Louis I Bridge which links the main city on the north bank with Villa Nova de Gaia on the south. On the far bank are found the warehouses and offices of world-famous port wine companies - well worth a visit! The Douro itself rises in Spain and after flowing into the north of Portugal joins the Atlantic Ocean at Porto.

This fine, two-tiered metal structure dates from 1886 although it was not fully completed until a year later when the lower deck was constructed. It was designed by Theophile Seyrig,a student of Gustav Eiffel. It connects Porto with Villa Nove de Gaia on the southern bank. The Douro itself starts its life in Spain, flowing into Portugal to meet the Atlantic Ocean here at Porto.
