Description: The Winston-Salem IceHawks played in the United Hockey League from 1997 to 1999 at the Lawrence Joel Coliseum Annex before moving to Glens Falls, N.Y., where they were known as the Adirondack IceHawks and played at the Glens Falls Coliseum. During their time in the UHL, the IceHawks faced off against the Brantford Smoke, the Muskegon Fury, the Flint Generals, the Saginaw Gears, the Port Huron Border Cats, the Mohawk Valley Prowlers, the Thunder Bay Thunder Cats, the Quad City Mallards, the B.C. IceMen, the Asheville Smoke and more. The team later changed its name to the Adirondack Frostbite.
Description: The Louisville IceHawks and their black and orange logo played four East Coast Hockey League seasons from 1990 to 1994 at Broadbent Arena. The Knights faced off against opponents such as the Birmingham Bulls, Knoxville Cherokees, Louisville IceHawks, South Carolina Stingrays, Huntington Blizzard, Huntsville Blast, Johnstown Chiefs, Erie Panthers, Raleigh IceCaps, Cincinnati Cyclones, Dayton Bombers, Toledo Storm, Greensboro Monarchs and more.
Description: The Louisville Panthers of the American Hockey League played at Freedom Hall from 1999 to 2001, and were an affiliate of the NHL's Florida Panthers. During their time in the AHL, the Panthers faced the Kentucky Thoroughblades, Hershey Bears, Albany River Rats, Syracuse Crunch, Rochester Americans, Worcester IceCats, Springfield Falcons, Portland Pirates, St. John's Maple Leafs, Philadelphia Phantoms, Cincinnati Mighty Ducks, Hamilton Bulldogs, Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, Hartford Wolf Pack and more.
