Description: The Winston-Salem IceHawks played in the United Hockey League from 1997 to 1999 at the Lawrence Joel Coliseum Annex before moving to Glens Falls, N.Y., where they were known as the Adirondack IceHawks and played at the Glens Falls Coliseum. During their time in the UHL, the IceHawks faced off against the Brantford Smoke, the Muskegon Fury, the Flint Generals, the Saginaw Gears, the Port Huron Border Cats, the Mohawk Valley Prowlers, the Thunder Bay Thunder Cats, the Quad City Mallards, the B.C. IceMen, the Asheville Smoke and more. The team later changed its name to the Adirondack Frostbite.

Description: The Louisville Panthers of the American Hockey League played at Freedom Hall from 1999 to 2001, and were an affiliate of the NHL's Florida Panthers.
