Its design is mid-century modern graphic style that draws on European modernist and expressionist poster traditions. It uses bold, simplified silhouettes, a limited high-contrast palette, and direct pictorial symbolism for a clear public safety message. He made Aliya in 1933 and studied at the Bezalel Academy in Jerusalem. With Ze’ev Lipman, he co-founded the ROLI Studio. The poster was part of a campaign to address the acute housing shortage for new immigrants to Israel.
