Description: Sarah Records was a UK independent record label active in Bristol between 1987 and 1995, best known for its recordings of indie pop, which it released mostly on 7" singles. On reaching the catalogue number SARAH 100 the label celebrated its centenary by throwing a party and shutting itself down. In March 2015, NME declared Sarah to be the second greatest indie label of all time.

Description: Known by its slogan, "America's Best Buy In Recorded Music", Springboard was founded in New Jersey in December, 1968 and was one of the most active budget labels during the 1970s. Initially operating as a subsidiary of Springboard International Records, Inc., in 1974 it acquired parts of the Scepter Records catalog from its founder, Florence Greenberg. In 1976, it acquired Musicor Records from its owner Art Talmadge. As a result, it routinely issued cut-rate compilations culled from the Scepter and Musicor catalogs as well as "Top of the Pops"-style Top 40 sound-a-like cover-version records, both of which were sold in K-Mart and other popular department stores.

Description: Win were a Scottish pop band from the 1980s. After the dissolution of The Fire Engines, Davy Henderson formed Win with Ian Stoddart (drums,keyboards), ex-Fire Engine Russell Burn (Keyboards). Then was joined by Emmanuel "Mani" Shoniwa (guitar/bass/backing vox), Simon Smeeton (guitar/backing vox), Karl Mariner {keyboards/backing vox} then Willie Perry (keyboards). A more determinedly pop act than The Fire Engines, they were commercially successful in Scotland, partly due to their single "You've Got the Power" being used in a lager advertising campaign for Scottish brewers McEwan's. But they were unable to translate that into more widespread success and break through further afield.
