Fox-and-cubs flowers! They are also called Indian Paintbrushes. These are one of my very favorite wildflowers, ever since I was little, because they’re so beautiful - the vivid red and orange colors almost seem to glow like fire, and the blossoms are very soft to touch, like silky fur. They also smell like some sweet dessert, like cake or cookies.
