It was in his 1961 inaugural address that John F. Kennedy spoke his famous words, "ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country." This use of antimetabole can be seen even as a thesis statement of his speech—a call to action for the public to do what is right for the greater good. This appears to be an elegant rephrasing of Franklin D. Roosevelt's acceptance speech at the 1936 Democratic National Convention: "To some generations much is given. Of other generations, much is expected. This generation of Americans has a rendezvous with destiny."

So sometimes as an artist whether visual or illustrative whatever the medium, photography, pen and ink, watercolour, oil, clay, you name it - sometimes, we as artists - just can't find our mojo... I think in the industry its called a mental block! For whatever reason that creative flow ~ that ebbs out of your body - just disappears! And for 'creatives' - no matter what you do - it won't come back until its good and ready! There's no point in forcing it - it won't happen. Its Election Year 2020 and a lot at stake, we've been told a lot of political lies and at the same time our lives have been turned upside down by a pandemic of epic proportions, now we have to hold those accountable and steer us to a better future. It is what it is? Wow what an understatement.
