I'm an animal ecologist, so animals are usually a big part of my art. Tigers were one of my favourite animals as a kid. They're pretty cool. Also, I realised after colouring this that the tiger looks a bit high but hey, it goes with the chill vibe I guess.

Young male Bengal (Indian) Tiger (Panthera tigris) one of 10 sub-species of tiger, 4 of which are extinct. All tigers are seriously threatened due to loss of habitat and poaching largely for Chinese traditional medicines. This young male (about 22 months old and in the process of leaving his mother to find his own solitary way in the world) was photographed in Ramthambhore National Park & Tiger Preserve, Rajasthan, India. A magnificent Siberian Tiger snarling as he glides silently through the falling snow. It is estimated the wild population of Siberian tigers at around 350-450 tigers. Almost all wild Siberian tigers live the Southeast corner of Russia in the Sikhote-Alin mountain range east of the Amur River. Their former range included northeastern China and the Korean Peninsula, and as far west as Mongolia. They are the largest of the tiger species and can grow up to 13 feet in length and weigh up to 700 lbs. The white tiger is a pigmentation variant of the Bengal tiger, which is reported in the wild from time to time in the Indian states of Assam, Bengal, Bihar, Sunderbans and especially in the former State of Rewa. The white Bengal tigers are distinctive due to the color of their fur. The white fur caused by a lack of the pigment pheomelanin, which is found in Bengal tigers with orange color fur. When compared to Bengal tigers, the white Bengal tigers tend to grow faster and heavier than the orange Bengal tiger. They also tend to be somewhat bigger at birth, and as fully grown adults.
