I drew this picture of Max Julian from the blaxploitation movie The Mack for a possible comics gig.  I don't know if I expect to get it, but it's a paying job by a writer I really like, so I figured I'd give it a try.  It would be a feather in my cap to land this one, so we'll see.  Either way, it was fun to draw. So here it is!

People often ask me why I don't go out of my way to work at the major publishers anymore. When this villain made his first appearance on a movie screen, the writer who created him found out because he was sitting in the audience when it happened. Not cool. I'm just sayin'...

You have probably seen other people behave in ways that put us all at risk. Even if that is the case, resist the temptation to be merciless. We have to correct foolish or selfish behavior without crossing the line and becoming less human ourselves.
