Ventnor Seafront Number of views as of 27th January 2017 = 400. The seaside town of Ventnor on the Isle of Wight in early November. A somewhat chilly day and a little swell from the English Channel too. Situated in the Solent off the south coast of England, the Isle of Wight is 23 miles long by 13 miles wide and has 60 miles of largely unspoilt coastline from the The Needles in the west to Bembridge in the east. Ventnor faces south-east and is sheltered by the land mass of St Boniface down, the highest point on the island at 787 feet. Date: 1st November 2012.

Tommy now sits proudly on the seafront of Seaham Harbour, County Durham, England. The name given to the artwork is "Eleven Oh One" and relates to the Armistice at the end of the First World War. The sculpture is of a British soldier of World war One, known as Tommies, here Tommy has his head bowed......Is he fired of the futility of war, or remembering his fallen comrades?

Hartlepool is a seaside town in the North East of England. It was established in the 7th century and grew with the importance of shipbuilding in the North East. It was one of few towns in England that suffered from bombardment from the German fleet in the First World War, It now has a popular marina for leisure boating.

The Dorset Coastal Town of Lyme Regis with its sandy beach viewed from the bottom of North Wall, which is adjacent to the iconic Cobb and Harbour.

My watercolour of this scene has been incredibly popular so it seemed an obvious step to paint it in acrylic. Lyme Regis is an iconic UK seaside town equally popular with fossil hunters and sun worshippers since Victorian times.

An original painting inspired by the beautiful view of Southwold beach from the end of the Pier, at the beginning of the season when swimmers first venture into the sea.

The design features the iconic gazebos at the colonnade that is on the seafront promenade near the pavilion and marina.

This is the fourth in my seaside postcard series and captures the fun we had in the glorious sunshine at Lyme Regis in Dorset, one of Englands most beautiful resorts.Once famous as the location for the French Lieutenant's Woman but now a favourite spot for fossil hunters.
