Description: Former featherweight champion Bobby Chacon hammered out a unanimous 10 round decision over Jose Torres Monday night in an action-packed junior lightweight bout. Chacon used a heavy body barrage early in the bout that appeared to slow down the Mexico City fighter. Chacon picked up the pace in the final two rounds and scored at will with combinations and counter-punches in the final round to earn the decision. Chacon was cut over the right eye in the 6th round, but the wound didn't appear to effect him. There were no knockdowns in the fight
