The view standing on Caversham Bridge, Reading, looking downstream on a bright and sunny afternoon. On the left a boat is moored at Pipers Island - the third smallest named island on the Thames. A little further on is De Montfort Island or Fry's Island, the scene of a trial by combat between Robert de Montfort and Henry of Essex in 1163. We can also see The Blade, Reading's tallest office block and the tall towers of some new apartments by the railway station.

Canon Rebel T3i. Morrow Mountain State Park is located in the ancient Uwharrie Mountains along the Pee Dee River and Lake Tillery. Now worn down to rounded ridges that average less than 1,000 feet in elevation, these pinnacles are the remains of one of the oldest mountain ranges in the Eastern United States. Of the four major peaks in the park - Morrow, Sugarloaf, Hattaway and Fall - Morrow Mountain is the highest at an elevation of 936 feet. Bideford Town Centre, Black And White Bideford is one of the prettiest and most distinct looking towns in North Devon with a fascinating history to match its disarming beauty. Two of Bideford’s most famous landmarks are the Long Bridge built in 1268, locally called the ‘Old Bridge’ that joins the two sides of Bideford across the river. Bideford has a rich and intriguing history, going back as far as the times of Hubba the Dane, who is said to have attacked Bideford but was repelled by Alfred the Great.

Louth, Town Centre Shops, Lincolnshire, England This is my home town of Louth, a lovely market town in the heart of Lincolnshire Wolds. The clock tower in the middle is the old market hall and is now occupied by a chain discount store. This town centre photograph will make a great jigsaw puzzle for those horrid winter days. A beautiful coastal town.

I realized this work to depict the joy and tranquillity of an elderly couple. A couple united in love in the spring of their lives, a couple who surmounted joys and sorrows together. Now hand in hand, serenely they walk together in their autumn years towards the church that first celebrated their love. A manifestation of the desire of all loving couples.
