Tunnel View is what everyone sees as soon as they emerge from Highway 41 (going north) in Yosemite National Park. On the left is El Capitan, on the right is Bridalveil Fall, and in the center (background) is Half Dome. I painted this during one of my many visits to Yosemite. I can't get enough of it! It's my favorite place.

Tunnel View provides one of the most famous views of Yosemite Valley. From here you can see El Capitan and Bridalveil Fall rising from Yosemite Valley, with Half Dome in the background. This viewpoint is at the east end of the Wawona Tunnel along the Wawona Road

When you look back to the west from the Four-Mile Trail, you'll see a sort of reverse tunnel view, with Cathedral Rocks on the left and El Capitan on the right. Bridalveil Fall will be missing, and instead of seeing Half Dome and Clouds Rest in the middle, you'll see the Merced River Canyon receding westward en route to El Portal and the Central Valley.
