Attack of the Killer Tomatoes is a 1978 American parody film produced by J. Stephen Peace and John DeBello, and directed by John DeBello, based upon an original idea by Costa Dillon. The screenplay was written by Dillon, Peace, and DeBello. The film spoofs B movies and was made on a budget of less than $100,000. The story involves tomatoes becoming sentient by unknown means and revolting against humanity. Critical reception of Attack of the Killer Tomatoes was mostly negative, though the box office success of the film led to three sequels, all co-written by the same three writers and directed by DeBello.

Morgan Horse Farm Ltd. is the fictional horse breeding facility that was a pivotal location in the 2002 horror movie, The Ring. Located on the equally fictional Moesko Island off the coast of Washington State, it was the residence of the Morgan family, which included horse trainer Richard Morgan, his horse breeder wife, Anna Morgan, and their adopted daughter, Samara. When their daughter Samara became jealous of the affection shown towards the horses, instead of to her, she used her psychokinetic powers to drive the horses insane, driving them to end their lives. If you like obscure references, this Morgan Horse Farm design is about as obscure as it gets!

La Monja Poseida (The Nun Possessed) is the title of the Spanish release of To the Devil a Daughter, a 1976 British-West German horror film directed by Peter Sykes, starring Richard Widmark, Christopher Lee, Honor Blackman, Nastassja Kinski and Denholm Elliott. It is based on the 1953 novel of the same name by Dennis Wheatley. The story follows an American occult novelist as he battles to save the soul of a young girl from a group of Satanists, led by an excommunicated priest, who plan on using her as the representative of the Devil on Earth.

Armed Response is a 1986 action thriller film directed by Fred Olen Ray and starring David Carradine and Lee Van Cleef. It is the first action film made by CineTel Films and distributed by Metro Goldwyn Mayer. One of the men of a dangerous Yakuza boss known as Akira Tanaka has subtracted a statuette that he had planned to use as a peace offering between the local Yakuza and a rival Chinese tong. It seems that two private investigators were hired for the exchange of bailout money to restore the statue, but their business plan to recover the statue gets worse and Clay Roth is killed. This infuriates the Roth brothers and their father, as all three of them happen to be veterans.

Bloody Birthday is a 1981 slasher film directed by Ed Hunt and starring Susan Strasberg, José Ferrer, and Lori Lethin. The film begins In 1970 when three children are born at the height of a total eclipse. Due to the sun and moon blocking Saturn, which controls emotions, they become heartless killers ten years later, and are able to escape detection because of their youthful and innocent facades. A boy and his teenage sister become endangered when they stumble onto the bloody truth. Despite the film's primarily negative reception, Bloody Birthday has since accrued a cult following.
