This image shows the southern side of Notre-Dame de Paris Cathedral (Our Lady of Paris) in Paris, photographed from across the River Seine. It is a historic Catholic cathedral situated on the eastern half of the Île de la Cité in the fourth arrondissement of Paris. It is widely considered to be one of the finest examples of French Gothic architecture and is among the largest and most well-known church buildings in the world.
