The Black Church Pillow

Meet Mende. Like many black women across America she grew up in the church but she also grew up in the ghetto. She finds herself constantly trying to navigate both worlds. The church has taught her to love God and put God first. The streets have taught her to not take any mess from anyone or anybody. She often feels that people view her Christianity as some indication that she can be walked over or stepped on. But Mende is not the one. She has a tempter and no problem laying hands on you if she feels disrespected. In the name of Jesus of course. In short God is not through with her yet.
