Alnwick Castle And The River Aln, Northumberland, UK We walked out of town and as we walked over the bridge that spans the river Aln we looked back and saw Alnwick Castle looking down on us. Alnwick Castle was only used as a film location in the first two Harry Potter films: Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone and Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (2002).
