Description: Silbury Hill 3 Number of views as of 28th December 2016 = 110. The third (and final) image of my Silbury Hill 'mini-series'. Silbury Hill is part of the 'World Heritage Site' around the village of Avebury in Wiltshire, England. Co-incidentally, I was reading Bill Bryson's book 'The Road to Little Dribbling (More Notes from a Small Island)' the other day and here's how Bill describes his visit to Silbury: "... Silbury Hill is a wonder. It is 130 feet high - about the height of a ten-storey building - and is entirely made by hand. It is the tallest artificial prehistoric mound in the world.
