A cute, plump, white common seal (Phoca vitulina) pup on the sandy beach at Blakeney Point, north Norfolk seen on a seal watching boat trip from Morston Quay

The common seal bask on the rocks, their blubber protecting them from the rocky terrain and resting on a cushion mat of red seaweeds. Why wear real seal when you can wear seal print..? or consider a greetings card and have it signed, *sealed* and delivered! :D :P

Undoubtedly cute looking, although do not be fooled - seals have powerful jaws and are voracious predators of fish, squid and octopus.
