During the 1970s, 80s and 90s, Earl's Court was often referred to as London's "gay village," attracting LGBTQ+ people from across the UK and beyond. The flats at Falconberg Court became home to many members of the gay community, offering not just accommodation but a sense of belonging during a time when acceptance was far from guaranteed. Its location placed residents within walking distance of some of London's most iconic gay pubs, clubs and social venues, making it a small but memorable part of the area's rich LGBTQ+ history.
