Why hide behind a fake smile, suffer in silence and tediously explain why you 'don't look sick' but feel sick? It's not fair, So let's state the obvious!
Description: Folks with chronic illnesses (EDS, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, and so many others) use “spoons” as a unit of energy. We only have so many spoons in a day. It takes spoons to cook, shower, work, socialize, and play. If you’re “saving spoons,” it means you can’t do too much today because you know you need to do stuff tomorrow!
