Our Lady Pillows
Description: Our Lady of Ostrabrama, also known as Our Lady of the Gate of Dawn, is a painting of the Virgin Mary that was originally located above the gate to the city of Vilnius, Lithuania. Many miracles have been attributed to the Virgin Mary through this image, including numerous healings, subduing a city fire in 1706, help in obtaining victory in battle in 1702, and many others. The icon now resides in the Chapel of the Gate of Dawn in Vilnius. Her feast day is celebrated by Catholics on November 16, and by the Eastern Orthodox Church on January 8.

In 325 AD, she appeared to a wealthy, childless Roman couple in a dream and told them that she wanted a church built in her honor, and that the site she wanted it built on would be covered in snow. On the morning of August 5, a very hot day, the people of Rome (where it very rarely snows) awoke to find Esquiline Hill was covered with snow. It was proclaimed a miracle, and a church was built on the site in 358 AD.
