Stylised Drawing Pillows

Beautiful, stylised black and white octopus on a swirly, whirly sea background (with luscious, kissable lips!)

The Opreation is an A4 dipping nib pen drawing in india from about 1988/9. I recall that at the time I made this drawing a friend was undergoing an operation for a hernia which turned out not to exist. I don't know why I went for the strange composition of the drawing, but this is the way it looks on the page.

Mind Cascade. I started it in 2017, using a brush-like Faber-Castell PITT india ink pen, and I've recently added a few marks with the fineliner-style pen from the same set. I've successfully resisted the temptation to do anything more to it. This is an A4 size drawing on white card. © Brian Benson 2019
