pic Surf Designs, great places to surf around the world.Sitting 10km (6mi) west of the town of Margaret River, the famous Margaret River lefts known as Surfers Point can be found, grinding down the reef. It is a peak in swells up to 6ft (2m) but Margaret’s is all about size and the lefts will handle plenty of that. Heartstopping drops, lumpy bowls and cutback walls are all part of the waves’ personality and it can handle a healthy dose of onshore wind, maintaining shape and some face smoothness for long, swooping turns. Watch out for speed bumps when cranking off the bottom and keep an eye on the horizon. Getting caught inside is no fun and positively dangerous if taking on the rights. Best conditions will be solid W swell, skimpy E wind...

A mostly unpaved road leads north from the highway between mile marker 13 and 14. The name Peʻahi for the break[7] is a word-play on the nearby ancient area name, since the Hawaiians had several other words such as nalu for waves of water.[8] When the Maui surfers John Roberson, John Lemus, and John Potterick were surfing the break in 1975, they noticed a sudden change in the conditions to huge dangerous waves, and gave it a nickname after the film Jaws, comparing the unpredictability to a shark ...

A quick design.

Famous reefbreak firmly entrenched in the annals of surfing history. Powerful, thick peak with a long, tapering right and a shorter, hollower left. Either can hold sizeable swells. Best with summer SW swells and any tide; usually bigger than other spots around. Gets very crowded and has a competitive atmosphere

This is one of the best right wave in the world. Is the right of pipeline, but is a little bit slower, less powerful and a little bit less dangerous(cause there is more water from the wave to the coral reef). It works from three reef: from the first reef, it's not so dangerous, and is possible to be surfed by surfers with some experienced, from the second reef, you need lot of experience to surf it, and from the third reef it's so big and powerful that is only for pros or kamikaze!

Continuing series of great places to surf on the west coast. Volcanoes is a lava rock reef break, which is on the way to Cab San Quintin. Volcanoes is worth checking out on the way there. Volcanoes is good and can get really heavy, definitely experts only. Volcanoes stretches from the village of "Los Volcanes" to just north of the village of "El Playon," which is also an excellent break. This whole area has great surf that is always going- off. Make sure that you wear booties, due to the sharp lava rocks at Volcanoes.

The old saying goes, "If a butterfly flaps its wings over the Pacific, Santa Cruz gets swell." Well, actually there's no saying like that, but there should be. Because the coast forms a sort of natural bight, the area's myriad beachbreaks, points, and rocky reefs absorb swell from just about any direction—northwest to dead south—translating to rideable waves almost every day of the year. Big waves, secret spots, outer-reef bombies…even a world-class right-hand reef-point in Steamer Lane—Santa Cruz has them all. ‘Killers’ is the most consistent Tarhazoute pointbreak, sucking up all available N-W swells. It’s always bigger than it looks and the paddle-out takes close to 15mins at high tide. In small swells, at low tide, the peak in front of the cliff has a short left (heading straight into some rocky caves) and a sectioning right. As the swell increases, the take-off area moves south and powerful, vertical walls, rumble down the point. Occasional barrels and difficult to make sections. The inside fires at high tide as it’s fully protected from N winds. Handles a lot of size.
