Along with Black Midi, Squid, Shame, Idles or Girl Band, Black Country is one of the most interesting rising hype bands that mixes rock, punk, post-hardcore and jazz with influences of Scott Walker, Slint or Godspeed You Black Emperor among many others.

Winchester was the first capital city of England until the Norman Conquest and is the capital of Wessex. Adjacent to this image is the towering Norman cathedral - the centre and heart of the city.

A wet rainy day in Melbourne didn't stop intrepid photographers from Melbourne's Hosier Lane. The wet cobble stones made for awesome reflections from the neon signs.

The long and sliding road downhill

A beautiful alley in Gion, the warm wooden tones are offset by the reflected light on the wet concrete and colourful umbrellas.

How could this be? An empty street right in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Paris? Well, this was the scene immediately after a severe rainstorm and a downpour that lasted for at least a half hour. And yes, I was the only one with a camera and a tripod (and no raincoat). All images are taken with a Canon 5D III (full frame) and a Canon 7D II (crop frame) using a variety of Canon L-Series lenses, and Tamron and Sigma pro-line lenses; processed in RAW with ACR, PSC, Photomatix, and a variety of other imaging software.
