Huginn translates to ‘thought or mind’. ‘Muninn means ‘memory or ‘mind’ and didn’t just collect knowledge but also remembers events, insights, and experiences. They are profoundly symbolic in Norse culture. They mirror the cycle of learning, processing, and storing information, and highlight the importance of acquiring wisdom and foresight.

The first known written reference to ‘fairy bread’ at children’s parties appeared in a Tasmanian newspaper on ANZAC Day in 1929.
Description: The International Bear Brotherhood Flag, represents the bear subculture within the LGBTIQA+ community (men with a bearish hairy body and/or facial hair). The colours represent the furs of different bear species throughout the world, and as a sign of inclusivity. It was originally created by Craig Byrnes in 1995 and updated by Paul Witzkoske. My version has a raised fist representing defiance, unity, solidarity, and resistance against oppression of bears, as the political struggle for equality continues for all LGBTIQA people.

My updated 2025 rainbow is made with a gradient of colours – because sometimes the lines are blurred.

Jörmungandr is the giant Midgard Serpent, that encircles the world and is the enemy of the thunder god Thor. His venom is poisonous and his mouth is big enough to swallow a giant. Jörmungandr is the child of Loki, the trickster fire god, and Angrboða, a giantess. Jörmungandr is the brother of the wolf Fenrir and the goddess Hel. Jörmungandr's fate is to be slain by Thor during Ragnarök, and his death allows for new life to form from the ashes of the old.
