Sid Haig's portrayal of Captain Spaulding re-launched the amazingly screen worthy actor with Rob Zombie's 2003 horror classic "House of 1000 Corpses". There is no character in any horror film who is like this clown. Captain Spaulding is an absolute horror icon. “Fuck yo mamma! Fuck yo sister! Fuck yo grandma! But most of all… FUCK YOU!”

Vincent Price is my absolute favorite actor, an inimitable hero of horror. This drawing is from a still of him in the role of Frederick Loren in House on Haunted Hill (1959). Endless thanks to this lovely man and his incredible influence on horror both dark and comedic.

Although it is not a human subject, "Rabbit" from the 1983 horror classic Twilight Zone: The Movie was just as challenging for me to make. The original painting has been sold but now you can buy the adorable critter here. This image *is* from a painting and not a still from the film so know there are brush and canvas marks!

After I finished I realized many people wouldn't see this as something beautiful to represent deeply bonded love but would instead be repulsed. Ever feel like an alien in this world we exist in? Well, I hope some of you will see something beautiful, too. When I was realizing the image onto paper it reminded me of the tarot, "The Lovers". So, I suppose that is its best title.

Titled "Altered Consciousness" this one is all about losing the self to something that dominates the mind, whatever it may be. OR it's just a cool picture with a weird spider skull monster thingy. Whichever way you look at it, it is effing cool.
An alteration of my Altered Consciousness design is 4.1 is "The Parasite". This is the creature sucking the mind. Is it truly parasitic or perhaps symbiotic? Can host survive alone or crumple away? For you to know.
Totally inspired while reading Barbie Wilde's book, a collection of her work, "Voices of the Damned". If you like this art... well then oh my god you have to look up her writing! https://www.sstpublications.co.uk/Voices-of-the-Damned.php
I have to admit that hours of pointillism is a little on the soul crushing side, but I think she looks pretty good! What do you think?

"Orion was a mighty and fearless hunter, so great in fact that he vowed to kill every animal on the Earth. Gaia, the goddess of the Earth and protector of the animals, was angered by Orion and asked Scorpio, a giant scorpion, to kill Orion before he could harm the animals. Scorpio attacked Orion and stung him with his stinger. As a reward for his bravery and for saving the lives of all of the animals, Gaia placed Scorpio in the night sky. He is seen chasing Orion across the sky during the year. Orion is allowed to hunt peacefully in the winter, but as spring comes, Scorpio rises chasing Orion out of the sky."

So much hatred that it burns you, it rips you, it is visceral, in your gut. So sickened by what you hate you will tear yourself apart. You see all from that most monstrous place within you that wants only to destroy. Destroy. Destroy.
