We have entered the confuzzlement zone with our bonkers Universe continuing to puzzle and confound us as we orbit around Sagittarius A* on our pale blue dot!
Apollo 8 gave us the iconic Earthrise image and more recently the native Hawaiian voyager Nainoa Thompson gave us a simple yet powerful way to really love our world our good Earth with his statement "If you don't understand it, you can't protect it. And if you don't care, you won't protect it."
In 2019 we celebrated Apollo 11's 50th anniversary of the lunar landing (so eloquently celebrated in the BBC's podcast series 13 Minutes to The Moon presented by Dr Kevin Fong - with a wonderful Hans Zimmemusical score). Lets ensure we don't risk K Vonnegut's saying "The good Earth—we could have saved it, but we were too damn cheap and lazy." becoming a truism. Lets instead live up to the aspiration of the Earthrise image and Nainoa's sentiments.
