Here is a portrait of Wyld Wynds (N2BHS-CKS), an unmarked chestnut colt that was born May 27, 2020 on Assateague Island in Maryland. This style image works very well, in addition to wall art, on apparel and other decor items. The Assateague Ponies, as they are affectionately called, are actually feral wild horses who roam Assateague Island north of the Maryland/Virginia state line. Park visitors and campers are continuously reminded by officials and signage to slow down and be observant of the wildlife. Note that there is no "Misty of Chincoteague" here. The horses of Assateague Island are separated into two herds - "Misty" was representative of the Virginia herd.

Here is a street view of the Fenwick Island Lighthouse in a simulated watercolor presentation, showing the lighthouse, the keeper's house, and the assistant keeper's house in Fenwick Island, Delaware. The lighthouse is actually located in Delaware but the camera was "across the line" in Ocean City, Maryland at the time of capture. The Fenwick Island Lighthouse has been aiding navigation for mariners since August 1, 1859. Today, the historic structure is a popular tourist destination, especially for photography enthusiasts. The "Fenwick Light" is an historic landmark located in southernmost Delaware right at the border with Ocean City, Maryland.

In this "painterly style" image the full moon is made to appear rising under the Indian River Inlet Bridge at the Delaware Seashore State Park. Of course a bit of "artistic license" was used to make the moon appear as it does under the George W. Carlson Bridge.

An abstract digital artwork of a cat with three eyes - all staring at the viewer. The eyes have it, right? Wouldn't this be cool on a coffee mug or thermos so you always see (at least) two eyes?

In this digitally-created image, the treacherous waters of Cape Hatteras have long been a challenge to sailors – especially in the age of old sailing ships. Whether navigating the narrow channels around the cape, or braving storms that can arise suddenly, these waters have tested even the most experienced mariners. But as frightening as they can be, they are also a source of fascination and admiration.

The Indian River Bridge is an architectural wonder just north of Bethany Beach, Delaware that looks "wonderful" both day and night. This view of the lighted bridge was photographed from the south shore of the Indian River Inlet and to the west of the bridge. The official name is the Charles W. Cullen Bridge at the Indian River Inlet. There is a rich history of bridges over the Indian River Inlet - but that's a story for another time. This has proven to be one of the top sellers in the area. If you love The Bridge and the Indian River Inlet you might like having a photograph like this on display in your home.

Here, in an expressionism simulated watercolor abstract, is a catnapping market cat enjoying a break near a market stall in the public market in the Caribbean port of St. Lucia. Market cats have a tough life, so don't let this cuddly looking feline fool you with its restful repose. This is likely a mixed breed market cat - most are strays, or began life as a stray. From the coloring of the fur, it seems to resemble an American Shorthair or maybe even a wirehair.

Charcuterie boards, such as the one shown here in an abstract expressionism presentation, are a great way to impress your guests with a variety of delicious snacks. One creative and eye-catching way to add something extra special to your charcuterie board is by making pepperoni roses. Adding these unique, flavorful garnishes to your charcuterie board will bring out the beauty of the presentation and give an added flavor boost. The rose is made out of the cooked pepperoni slices, which have been rolled into a flower shape.

In this simulated watercolor presentation, the sun sets under the Indian River Inlet Bridge - as seen from the north shore jetty at the outer end of the inlet. The suspended portion of the cable-stayed bridge is one half mile long and provides smooth access for traffic north and south along the coastal highway on Route 1, connecting the towns of Bethany Beach and Dewey Beach - and points farther south and north. It is a central architectural feature at the Delaware Seashore State Park, which attracts visitors, beach-goers and vacationers by the thousands.

A lone tree is silhouetted against the sun setting over Assawoman Bay, as seen from the end of 80th Street in Ocean City, Maryland. The orange sunset is typical of a hot summer day but this sunset was photographed in the off-season, hence no leaves on the tree, leaving the branches in silhouette against the setting sun. This has become one of my most popular photographs. If you have this in your home where would you display it? This original tree photograph has been "reflected" upon itself to create this special presentation that appears almost kaleidoscopic. Can you tell which portion of this image is from the original photograph?

Christmas decorations are an integral part of the holiday season, and there's no shortage of ways to add a festive touch to your home. One of the most creative options is making a Christmas pinecone mouse decoration, a fun craft project that adds whimsy and charm to any holiday décor. With just a few materials, you can create this whimsical little critter to display on your mantel or as part of a larger table centerpiece. All you need is some pinecones, felt, glue and fabric scraps – plus plenty of imagination! Start by gluing two large pinecones together, then use felt for the ears, eyes and nose. You can also embellish with scraps from old sweaters or scarves for extra texture. To finish off the look, attach small bits of ribbon or str...

It's that time of year when the streets become crowded with holiday cheer, and Christmas decorations can be seen almost everywhere you look. One of the classic symbols of Christmas is the red bow, shown here in a simulated watercolor presentation, often placed on lamp posts to bring a festive feeling to the neighborhood. These red bows are usually made of simple fabric, and tied around the post with a string. The bow may (or many not) be decorated with a variety of Christmas ornaments, such as candy canes, bells and even small gifts. This simple decoration can be made at home in no time!

Here's the most colorful water tower along the coast of Delmarva, shown here in a simulated watercolor presentation that looks great on apparel, t-shirts and such. Ocean City, Maryland is a beach town so why not have a beach ball water tower downtown. Located on St. Louis Avenue and 1st Street, the "beach ball" can be seen from the beach and by visitors entering Ocean City via Route 50, the southern entrance to this island town.

The Delaware Seashore State Park facilities on both the north and south sides of the Indian River Inlet and along the shore of the Indian River Bay attract thousands or people, who can enjoy sights like this, all year 'round. Indian River Inlet Bridge, the Charles W. Cullen Bridge, is seen an night from the northwest campground area. New England's fall foliage does not have the market cornered on bright, colorful trees. The example of Mother Nature's Kaleidoscope was found in Newton Fall, Ohio. There was a bit of image manipulation to "reflect" the tree upon itself to make this repeat design but the original photograph remains true - just the way it was captured.
