These are all the characters I designed and created for the company I worked for. The style has been around for a long time.

This seagull cartoon looks like he is about to crash and he is coming in hot! I think he may have just missed the flight from New York

One of the most visually impressive moments in the Bible for me is the exodus of the Jews from Egypt and crossing the Red Sea. This is my vision of that moment.The size of Moses bottom left is to show the immense size of the wave G-d created when making a path for the people. I didn't show the others because I wanted to Hashem worked with one man to move such a body of water.

This is one type of tree frog with the distinctive and haunting red eyes. if I were an insect I wouldn't go near this guy. He looks like he is pouring off of this branch. I thought the wording was perfect for this situation.

A Rooster a Bull and a chick are having a discussion and see looks like they are feeding her a cock n bull story. I don't think she is buying it.

this monkey looks to be somewhat deep in thought or zoned out . thinking about bananas no doubt .

the tail of the dragon is a road in North Carolina that attracts drivers that like a challenge and the excitement of driving on curvy roads.it is sought by car drivers and motor cyclists alike. It is a beautiful drive especially during the fall months when the leaves are turning. Make no mistake though it is a very dangerous road and had taking many lives. In this illustration I wanted the dragons tail to transition into the road and the fin of the dragon becomes the yellow line in the road. Any one that likes this can have their car or motorcycle added to this instead of the car you see here.

This leaping frog was a concept sketch that was one of many sketches. This idea came to me and was a little challenge . I didn't have the necessary reference that I needed.

These obvious sea creatures are not the exactly typical jelly fish but you get the idea. I wanted to show a lot of color and that when I see in these tropical floating transparent glowing creatures with poisonous tentacles I give them plenty of room. These guys look dressed up for a party though.

My wife came up with the idea of a drawing of a mosquito as Floridas state bird. we do have some rather large mosquitos here and depending where you are a lot of them. When I lived in the keys if they hadn't sprayed you couldn't even go outside in the evening. I added the copy on this one.

a concept design of two jelly fish cartoons, These sea creatures or jelly fish are obviously from the Caribbean , more specifically Jamaica. I wanted to show a lot of color and that when I see in these tropical floating transparent glowing creatures with poisonous tentacles I give them plenty of room. One of the brothers has a fish inside and the other one finds it amusing. They were fun concept sketches and a lot different from the original sketches from my old sketchbooks.

This is a jewish nutcracker . I couldn't find one in the stores so i made it my self.

I drew this when I worked at Itec entertainment as a concept sketch.It has gone through several changes adding some things and taking others out. a little artist drawing a frog that is posing on a crayon box. This little guy is having a hard time staying inside the lines though.

I love doing dragons they can be so expressive. When You are making up characters like this ,for the most part you can do what ever you want. They never existed any so who's to say what they look like. I think they may have come from dinosaurs mixed with mythology . This one doesn't look like it can get off the ground though. I named it clueless because it had a look like it didn't really know what was going on. It reminds me of a chicken and the expression they have.

This is a green tree frog with red eyes hanging on a branch

This is one type of tree frog with dark eyes. if I were an insect I wouldn't go near this guy. He looks like he is pouring off of this branch. I thought the wording was perfect for this situation.

This little guy must have quite an imagination and sees himself on a mighty dragon. fighting off bad guys with his sword and trusty dragon steed. and what dragon would be complete without a little smoke.

This Iguana is trying to get a ride to Florida ,or the islands, Holding a bright yellow umbrella for the heat and sporting a tropical shirt .Not sure if anyone will pick him up though. I think they may bight.The Iguana that is.

a happy little stingray character just sailing through the waters. I took some liberties with the anatomy but that's what cartoons are all about, exaggeration. He makes a great little cartoon though.

A couple of married frogs cleaning up for the labor day party in the back yard. Still waiting for my invitation though .Its going to be wild, these frogs can get noise .

This crow is a little scary looking maybe he is keeping secrets, He is a little bit weathered and old. he's definitely been around the block. I made his feet a tad large for effect . I just loved his posture. He kind of looks like a butler in old tucks with a hunch back.

I was commissioned to do this painting for a friend.She had a friend that was new to this country and recently a citizen . I came up with this idea and thought it would be nice for this and a few other platforms.It was digitally done on Corel Painter. I prefer this over Photoshop personally . Making the flag weathered looking was something that came to me later in the process and I believe it adds to the overall feel of the painting.
