Description: You know the expression "fake it 'til you make it?" I feel like this unicorn knows that that's the real "secret." If you don't believe in yourself, find someone who believes in you, and then pretend you know what you're doing 'til you actually do. Don't let your friend down; they're rooting for you!
Description: Well...I mean, dachshunds are so cute you want to bite them anyway, but the fur is kind of hard to get down. Better with mustard. *Illustrator does not condone the actual eating of doxies. Please use discretion when dressing up dogs as food.

Description: This little robot was meant to be a hugbot, but somebody got the polarity wrong and he's a killbot instead. An adorable killbot.

Description: Look, up in the sky! It's a bird! Yep, it's definitely a bird. Underbear jumped off the dining room table one time, but his mom got mad and put him in time out for a half hour. But that didn't stop him from donning his red blanket-cape and underpants later and performing some thrilling heroics in the back yard.
Description: I have no particular reason for loving sharks, but I do. I really want people to have a positive impression of sharks, and I get kind of upset about a week on cable devoted to sensational stories about sharks that make them out to be big scary monsters. They're like the bears of the sea; sure, they COULD tear your arms off, but we also have, like, Winnie the Pooh to balance out the fiercer image of bears, and I want sharks to have that wide spectrum of popular imagery. So this shark just feels great, and he's happy to see you.
Description: You can "live slow, die whenever," or whatever, but just consider for a minute having your lifestyle validated by a dead language! My great grandmother used to say "the more hurry, the less speed," and I've also heard it as "slow is smooth and smooth is fast," but you get the idea. Take it easy.
Description: I live with a couple of pugs. They’re not mine, I just live with them. They are very silly, imperious little creatures. I like them, but I also like making fun of them. They remind me of Thomas Gainsborough's Blue Boy, hanging across from Pinkie in the Huntington Library. One of these days I'll do a Pinkie and have a matched set.

Description: I don't know how it happened that this mustachioed octopus on a laptop became one of my unofficial mascots, but it sort of did. He's on my banner at art fairs. I dunno, man. Something about a metaphor for multitasking and the anonymity of the internet allowing you to be anyone or somesuch. I just think it's funny.
