I created this artwork in occasion of the Chinese New Year 2023 which started the year of the Water Rabbit. The original painting is very large, 50x70 cm, and this allowed me to express my gestures through energetic brushstrokes and watercolor stains that gave character to the painting.

This is a very difficult painting I did in 2019, and I’m very attached to it.
The technique is acrylic paint on paper, and everything was handmade from the fox to all the lilies (they took me around 2-3 hours each to be made)

Due to the slow technique and the many realistic details, the making of this painting was very long and difficult, but I love the result and the poetic lighting effects of the background.
