Description: Can't seem to perfectly identify this beauty, but it volunteered in my flowerbed and was absolutely stunning this summer.

Description: When we were crafting our Valentine hearts last year, we used a paper doily for our stencil. This muted rainbow had the singular privilege of copying the whole doily pattern. After this attempt, we decided we liked the plain hearts better... though I really like the little roses in the details.

Description: This beautiful monarch was very weak when we found it on the street. No damage to it's wings, but could barely hold on with it's legs. We carefully helped it to a rose in our garden. When we went back to check a few hours later, the monarch had flown away.

Description: Took a photo of rose petals that were discarded in our yard, then cropped and layered for this wild pattern.

Description: Nothing like this soft natural carpet to make you feel all warm and fuzzy.

Description: A bronzed mask and fake leaves make up this autumn's act... looks like a faux fall.

Description: Was outside in the rain and spotted this little dandelion head... It made me think of all the parents, teachers, and leaders who have bad days or bad self-image. Even on those rough days, we are all still sowing seeds to the next generation. Description: My kids helped take care of this beauty until it became a butterfly, then happily released it onto the flowers last summer.

Description: I could spend hours soaking in these colors with no other sound than the gentle babbling of the brook before me.

Description: This old gate stood between an orchard and a hay field. The fields are overgrown and the paint is peeling, but the old gate is still beautiful.

Description: This adorable little place is long abandoned and falling quickly into disrepair, but it is clearly still full of love.

Description: Dried my anniversary roses and loved how they looked, so I used them to decorate Christmas gifts.

Description: My daughter tried to say less is more, but added a bit of twang so that we heard this... It's simple and all in good fun, but definitely makes us all laugh.

Description: A lifetime in a loving family, spotted with loses of some of those dearest to me, has taught me a valuable lesson. Love and life are not without hardship, disappointments, or pain; but heartfelt love brings hope, comfort, and joy. Love is the root of all good things. The greatest joy in this world is to love… getting love in return? That is icing on the cake. And so I wish you all… Love.
