Description: This skeleton represents the invisible scars left by war. Amidst a city at night, its seemingly random shots symbolize the mental confusion, lingering traumas, and echoes of combat that continue to haunt the minds of many soldiers long after the fighting has ended. Destruction has become part of the figure's very identity—merely a remnant of what was once a whole human—while its attire serves as a trace of a past life, providing context to what, at first glance, appears to be a senseless act.

Description: A breath alters the rhythm of the hatching. Colors vibrate, expanding and contracting as if responding to the arrival of someone who silently shifts the scene's balance. A presence insinuates itself among the intertwined forms, shifting the gaze and introducing a new emotional tension. Ambiguity remains shrouded in shadow: it could be a reunion, a memory, or merely a projection of desire. In this weave of colors and contrasts, everything seems to belong to the same sensitive and affective surface.
Description: In a garden illuminated by the lingering glow of the White Nights, a couple sits hand in hand at the center of the scene. Without distinct features, the figures seem wrapped in the soft light that bathes Saint Petersburg during this unique season, creating a presence that feels both intimate and distant. Delicate colors and diffuse luminosity blur the line between night and day, giving the garden a timeless, contemplative atmosphere. Flowers and vegetation appear suspended in quiet beauty, transforming the landscape into a space of memories, encounters, and dreams. The result evokes the poetic melancholy and introspective spirit often associated with the world of Dostoevsky.
Description: In the St. Petersburg of Dostoevsky’s *White Nights*, the city is more than just a setting illuminated by a continuous, lingering daylight. With the seasonal departure of many residents to their *dachas*, the streets fall silent, and the canals—undisturbed by any movement—reflect an even more intense light. This temporary emptying of the city reinforces the melancholic and introspective atmosphere of the season, transforming the urban landscape into an almost vacant stage, inhabited only by those who remain and by their own reflections.
Description: The woman is there, present just enough to exist. In the foreground, her figure is distinct, defined solely by her proximity to the observer. She occupies the space with a stillness that heralds no gesture. She reveals no intention—only presence. Before her, however, everything dissolves. The world extending beyond the parapet is not a backdrop but an expanse of light and color: blurring patches, scattering hatch marks, and blending hues, as if the radiance of the White Nights had dissolved every boundary. The horizon does not define itself; it vibrates. The air defies description; it breathes in gradients.
Description: Dachas become the destination for many St. Petersburg residents between late spring and early summer—the season of the famous White Nights. During this time of nearly continuous daylight, the city slows down, and walks take on a contemplative quality, steeped in an atmosphere of stillness and enchantment. These summer homes retain a unique charm: blooming gardens, verandas meant for tea and quiet conversation, and a simple, welcoming ambiance that contrasts with the pace of urban life. As havens for rest and socializing, they evoke a more serene way of living, deeply connected to nature and the pleasures of everyday life.
Description: This evocative artwork portrays the Greek underworld, where lost souls move along a somber path toward the realm of the dead. At its center stands Charon, the legendary ferryman responsible for carrying the departed across the waters that separate life from the afterlife. The composition blends movement, tension, and melancholy, while the river, rendered in haunting tones, seems to transport not only bodies and spirits but the very essence of death itself. Expressive linework and a dark atmosphere reinforce the sense of inevitability that defines the scene, capturing the moment when all existence yields to its final destiny. The result is a striking interpretation of one of the most enduring themes in Greek mythology.
Description: In this striking depiction of Prometheus’s punishment, the Titan is shown at the very moment he faces the retribution imposed by the gods—a condemnation that repeats daily and appears destined to last for eternity. The scene captures the tragic dimension of his sacrifice: having gifted fire to mortals, he defied the divine will for the sake of humanity. The dense, expressive linework, combined with a somber palette rich in contrasts, intensifies the sense of pain, endurance, and fatality. Every visual element reinforces the symbolic weight of the myth, as if the image itself shares in the hero’s suffering. The result is a powerful interpretation, one that conveys the full gravity and grandeur of this classic narrative from Greek mythology.
Description: The eagle featured in this work alludes directly to the myth of Prometheus, whom Zeus condemned to a seemingly endless punishment. Chained to a mountain, the Titan was preyed upon daily by the bird, which would return incessantly to devour his regenerating liver. In the composition, the animal’s intense, predatory gaze conveys a sense of insatiable hunger, leaving it ambiguous whether its motivation stems from instinct, duty, or pleasure. The figure of the eagle thus becomes a potent symbol of eternal punishment, relentless vigilance, and the inexorable power of fate in Greek mythology.
Description: This artwork captures a tender and emotional moment in which a princess holds Pinocchio in her arms, suspended in an atmosphere of care and serenity. The contrast between her calm, luminous presence and the puppet’s fragility highlights their bond, suggesting themes of protection, hope, and vulnerability. Every element of the composition reinforces the intimacy of the scene, while the surrounding environment enhances its dreamlike and dramatic quality. Presented as a precious moment within a larger story, the image resonates with admirers of classic fantasy, narrative art, and sensitive visual interpretations that explore the emotional depth of timeless tales.
Description: This artwork offers a powerful reinterpretation of the moment Pinocchio is found hanging from a tree while his tormentors watch with cold indifference. The scene unfolds with dramatic intensity, placing the puppet at the emotional center of the composition, suspended between vulnerability and an imposed fate. A dark, silent atmosphere reinforces the sense of threat and inevitability, while every detail seems charged with foreboding. The contrast between Pinocchio’s fragility and the rigidity of the observers transforms the episode into a reflection on fear, punishment, and lost innocence. The result is a striking piece that appeals to admirers of narrative art, classic fantasy, and emotionally charged interpretations of timeless stories.
Description: This artwork reimagines the somber banquet from Pinocchio, emphasizing the tension between abundance and menace. The richly laden table contrasts with the heavy atmosphere, suggesting that every element carries a deeper, almost ritual significance. Rather than a simple celebration, the banquet becomes a turning point in the character’s journey, where choices, dangers, and revelations converge. The dense symbolism and unsettling mood invite reflection on the story’s psychological and emotional dimensions, making the piece especially compelling for admirers of narrative art, classic fantasy, and imaginative reinterpretations of timeless tales.
