I recently bought myself a switch. this is the first Nintendo console i owned since the Nintendo Wii so it was a really nostalgic trip playing games like Mario odyssey and Zelda. I got the idea for this painting from the feeling of going back and playing those nostalgic titles I also thought it would be fun to hide a load of stuff in the background.

this is based on a sketch i did a long time ago, i actually had time recently to revisit it and turn it into a finished peice. its a weird mash of inspirations like Afro samurai, Westerns and Terminator that i think culminates in a cool design.
