Description: To honor Popol Vuh/Florian Fricke, one of my favorite German musicians of the 70s, I redrew the beautiful artwork from "In Den Gärten Pharaos " by Helmut Fritz, tastefully simplifying it for a T-shirt. This version is a non-distressed graphic, so all ink wear and tear is up to you. If you'd prefer the pre-distressed look, seek the other version in my shop.
Description: The Katzenklavier was a (supposedly) theoretical organ or piano that hammered cats instead of strings, producing a "katzenjammer," the delightful German word for the raucous noise made by a group of cats (hence the comic strip from the turn of the last century by Rudolph Dirks about two mischievous boys). I've turned the table on those imps, conceptualizing my own katzenklavier performed by the immortal Felix the Cat.
Description: Wanted a CAN shirt but the offerings were simply copied from LP jackets or just a 70s-looking font. So I decided to make my own. Original idea was to make it look like Roger Dean's YES logo, which would be funny only to me; besides it wasn't quite working. This streamlined, more machine-like logo was the result.
Description: The cool design by KCAI's John Baker was the Kansas City seal from 1970-1992. It was nicknamed the paperclip, but if look carefully you'll see four interlocking hearts, symbolizing KC's location between North & South, East and West ... the "Heart of America." It is in my opinion a masterwork of subtle but meaningful design. It is still found on manhole covers, bits of infrastructure, signage, and decorative iron and stonework around the city.
Description: Y is for Yeti, or the Abominable Snowman as we call him here in the West, is a cousin to North America's Bigfoot, in that he's a hulking, hairy primate that tromps arounds piedmont forests and whose evidence for existence is anecdotal sitings and plaster casts of his enormous footprints.

Description: The Gaia series is a collection of whimsical sprites who are spirits of endangered earth systems. The Glacier Sprite is inspired by our Earth's receding glaciers, so critical to our planet's stable and comfortable climate, relied upon by innumerable species, include the sprite's companion polar bear -- and us. Wherever she hangs, she'll remind you of our divine connection to each other and our planet.
Description: The Gaia series is a collection of whimsical sprites who are spirits of endangered earth systems. The Wetland Sprite is inspired by Florida and South Georgia's iconic cypress swamps, South Florida's mangrove colonies, and the snowy egret, ubiquitous resident of wetlands throughout the US South.
Description: The Gaia series is a collection of whimsical sprites who are spirits of endangered earth systems. The Forest Sprite is inspired by my many hikes and camping trips in forests throughout the US. Late at night, watching campfire embers drift off into the deep starry sky, I sense him out there, watching and waiting with his retinue of winged and scurrying friends. He reminds us of our divine connection to each other and our planet.
Description: The Gaia series is a collection of whimsical sprites who are spirits of endangered earth systems. The Coral Sprite is inspired by our planets endangered coral reefs and forests, and accompanied by her faithful friend the octopus. Wherever she goes, she'll remind you of our divine connection to each other and our planet.
