Description: Anyone who has fasted and prayed knows that the stomach's message "EAT, EAT, EAT!" comes across loud and clear in a short time, but we need to be just as aware to make sure we are regularly nourishing ourselves with the Word of God, since spiritual strength is more important than physical strength. This was my prayer, one night, as I lay in bed after a day of fasting, feeling my stomach beg for food.

Description: God calls His children to be generous as He is generous. This is a tall order, since God loved us enough to give His own Son for us!! While we may never be able to make that sacrifice for Him, we are obligated to give liberally of our finances and our time to Jesus and for the least of these. When we do this, though, God has promised to bless us right back, so that instead of losing money, we increase it through giving! What an amazing agreement! Not only that, but God will keep you afloat in times of famine, "rebuking the devourer" so that you may increase abundantly. What a mighty God we serve!

Description: 1 CORINTHIANS 6:19!! SPREAD THE WORD! If you are a Christian, then the Holy Spirit of the Most High God lives inside of you! Paul shows us in 1 Corinthians 6:19 that this clearly should effect the way we treat our bodies, now that they are responsible for carrying the Gospel to this world. We should not take care of our bodies for our own good, staying physically fit and sexually pure, but also out of love for your Saviour, Jesus, who laid down His life for us.
