I'm super inspired by the works of Billy Jensen and Paul Holes in their encouragement of citizens to assist in solving true crime cases, especially cold cases. Their Murder Squad podcast presents info and instruction for
true crime fans to constructively help law enforcement and detectives in solving cases. This illustration is inspired by their work, using one of the podcast's taglines: Keep Digging.

From Wikipedia: "A mellified man, or a human mummy confection, was a legendary medicinal substance created by steeping a human cadaver in honey. ...Some elderly men in Arabia, nearing the end of their lives, would submit themselves to a process of mummification in honey to create a healing confection."

This is my Over the Garden Wall inspired totem, with some of my favorite characters as cats, like Enoch and the Rock Fact rock. I mashed up a skull and the Beast near the top too. I just love the vintage vibe of this show, especially in the Pottsfield episode.
