Description: The Magic Roundabout was an English-language children's television programme that ran from 1965 to 1977. It was based on the French stop motion animation show Le Manège enchanté, which was created in France in 1963 by Serge Danot with the help of Ivor Wood and Wood's French wife, Josiane. (wikipedia) The Magic Roundabout is also the name given to a specific [terrifying] set of roundabouts in England with a complex layout, nicknamed after the series, also known as a ring junction. The most famous of these roundabouts appear in Swindon and Hemel Hempstead.
