The shoebill stork, a large bird found in the swamps of Eastern Africa, stands tall on long, thin legs with grey-slate feathers covering its body. Its most distinguishing feature is the enormous, bulbous bill that curves downwards, resembling an old-fashioned wooden clog. The edges of the bill are sharp, a trait that aids in catching and holding slippery prey. Its eyes are keen and focused, set in a head adorned with a spiky feather crest, adding to its prehistoric appearance. The shoebill typically moves slowly and can stand motionless for long periods, blending into its marshy environment, only to strike with lightning speed when prey is spotted.
One of my favorite plants to have around the house, I literally have like 6 different pots of them. They're easy to grow, look like they come from another planet, and help with the burns I sometimes get while cooking. Viva Aloe!
This tarantula spider is the perfect choice for anyone who is into entomology. It's original spider design would look awesome in any exotic pet lovers wardrobe.
