Description: Prints from my original pastel illustration on paper. I used some beautiful blue pastels given to me by a loved one, from Toulouse, France, for this drawing. This is a fanciful representation of these majestic multipurpose eucalypts (E.tereticornis), and the heart shape conveys a love of nature.
Description: Prints from my original acrylic painting on canvas. Abstract and whirling with colour and movement, this reminds me of looking through a kaleidoscope. My best friend had a kaleidoscope when we were children, and at the time, it was a most captivating device (pre-dating iPhones, iPads and such).
Description: Prints from my original abstract acrylic painting (flow/pour style) on board. I’ve only tried this technique twice for fun and whilst messy, it was fascinating to see how the colours mixed and moved, in the end looking like quite a rough green sea. I adore the ocean, its many moods and colours.
Description: Prints from my original acrylic painting on canvas. There are places in Australia, unpolluted by the lights of civilisation, where the inky night sky blazes with starlight over the burnt-orange soil and wildflowers. I have not yet visited such a place but it’s on my To Do list. This is how I imagine it may look.
Description: Prints from my original acrylic painting on canvas. Abstract but inspired by watching the air and ocean currents, animated on a weather map on television. Some of the whorls and swirls remind me of fingerprints (“dermatoglyphs”). The painting became an exercise in mindfulness!
Description: Prints from my original oil pastel drawing on paper. Whilst abstract, there is something about this that suggests an urban environment to me. I’m not really a city person myself, but know that there are some who absolutely thrive on the buzzing energy, diversity and excitement of The Big Smoke.

Description: Prints from my original acrylic painting on canvas. Abstract, inspired by a photograph I took of moss, lichen and possible fungal colonies growing over an old timber fencepost on a cattle property. It was lush and vibrant, and perhaps easily overlooked, but was a quiet little natural wonder to me.
Description: Prints from my original charcoal drawing on paper. Abstract but inspired by fingerprints and isobars (lines on weather maps connecting points of equal atmospheric pressure). My family’s agricultural background meant solemn silence for the evening weather on TV ( and lots of staring at isobars!).
