Description: The Royal Palace was established in 1866 when the capital was moved from Oudong to Phnom Penh after the implementation of the French Protectorate in Cambodia. It was constructed using a combination of traditional Khmer, Thai and European architectural features. Significant changes and additions were also made in the 20th century. Description: Christmas Lights display in Gunnedah, New South Wales, Australia Gunnedah residents vie for the honour of having their street named Santa Street (and for the next month able to have their mail delivered to them addressed to Santa Street!). This particular display by Carol and John was unusual in that it included intricate displays inside the property as well as the very bright and elaborate view for the street (part of which is seen here).
