Description: つづく is pronounced tsuzuku and, precisely, means "continue", continues, proceeds... I, like perhaps the majority of children who grew up in the late '70s and '80s, thought that this magic word meant "end" of the episode, a sort of "the end". We were wrong! As I mentioned, つづく is made up of three characters from the hiragana alphabet (平仮名), one of the three different types of writing for Japanese. The other two are katakana (片仮名) and kanji (漢字).
