Description: The marching band performs at home football games and regional competitions within the NWAPA circuit. The performance includes a combination of music, expression, movement, dance, choreography, and custom design. The ensemble consists of four prominent sections: woodwinds, brass, percussion, and color guard. At the forefront of the group are the drum majors who lead and conduct them on the field.

In addition to the most common traditional jazz styles, such as swing, the band performs selections in the styles of rock, latin, and funk. This traditional ensemble of saxophones, brass, and rhythm section exposes students to jazz pedagogical techniques such as improvisation, and a smaller chamber-style of playing.
