Thomas Jefferson wrote about breeding Guinea Hogs. In November 1807 he wrote "I greatly prefer their size and form" and how he wanted to spread them across the country. Some questions remain if these are the same Guinea Hogs however our own research and reading of his Farm Book writings and others supports that these hogs are connected.
