Description: Native to some Asian countries it is considered an invasive species in a lot of countries around the world. They are voracious eaters and consume a wide range of zooplankton, detritus and small invertebrates and since they lack a true stomach it needs to feed almost continuously.
Description: It lives in both freshwater and brackish water, and has a wide-ranging distribution in almost all Southeast Asian counties, including Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, and the Philippines. It is among the largest gobioid fish, reaching a length of 65 cm (26 in).
Description: It is a member of the Carp family and native to Laos, Vietnam and China from the Amur to Red River drainages. Koi are domesticated Amur carp that are selected or culled for color; they are not a different species, but a subspecies, and will revert to the original coloration within a few generations if allowed to breed freely.
Description: It is found in large rivers and estuaries in Southeast Asia and Borneo, though historically it may have been more widely distributed in South and Southeast Asia. One of the largest freshwater fish in the world, this species grows upwards of 1.9 m (6.2 ft) across and may reach 600 kg (1,300 lb) in weight.
Description: It is a member of the Carp family and it ranges from Vietnam, where it has been recorded in the Mekong Delta and Dong Nai River, through the basin of the Mekong to the Chao Phraya basin in Thailand. It is also found on Sumatra and Java and has been recorded from the Rajang Basin in Sarawak, Borneo.
