Description: The great champion of King Arthur. A close friend.. so close that he even had an affair with Arthur's wife, Guinevere :o Lancelot is the orphaned son of King Ban of the lost kingdom of Benwick, raised in the fairy realm Avalon by the Lady of the Lake. He followed no religion of the region (celtic or catholic), but appearances are importante to keep.
Description: He is King Arthur's nephew, son of Arthur's sister Morgause and King Lot of Orkney and Lothian. One of his brothers is the infamous Mordred. Gawain is a formidable but courteous and compassionate warrior, fiercely loyal to his king and his family. He is known as a friend to young knights, a defender of the poor and the unfortunate. In some literature, is initially close friendship with Sir Lancelot, becomes a bitter rivalry when he seeks vengeance for the death of his brothers. In this tradition, featured in Le Morte d'Arthur, Gawain's sinful ways and his unforgiving nature inadvertently lead to the fall of Arthur and the Round Table, and ultimately his own death by Lancelot's hand.

Eventually, a group of knights passes through the forest and Perceval is struck by their heroic bearing. Wanting to be a knight himself, he travels to King Arthur's court. After proving his worthiness as a warrior, he is knighted and invited to join the Knights of the Round Table.

After seeing the Grail and the visit of Joseph of Arimathea, Galahad requests to die. His ascension to Heaven is witnessed by Bors and Percival. Galahad is associated with a white shield with a vermilion cross, the very same emblem given to the Knights Templar by Pope Eugene III.
